False lashes are applied over your natural lashes using a special adhesive. They need to be trimmed and shaped to fit your eye before application. While they deliver an immediate effect, sleeping in false lashes is not recommended as they can fall off easily — and they rarely look as natural as you might hope. If you want to wear them every day, you will need to keep purchasing new sets, which quickly becomes impractical and costly over time.
Eyelash extensions involve the application of individual synthetic fibres, one by one, directly onto each natural lash. The advantage is that there are multiple techniques available, allowing you to fully customise the volume and curl to match your personal style — from dramatic and bold to soft and natural, with flexible fibres that blend seamlessly with your own lashes.
Eyelash extensions can add incredible density and volume to your lashes, creating a stunning, well-defined look that turns heads.
Darker, more intense lashes naturally enhance and highlight your eyes — adding expressiveness and depth to your gaze without the need for mascara.
Extensions are perfect for disguising areas with sparse or thin lashes, significantly reducing your reliance on mascara and other eye makeup.
Long, voluminous, perfectly defined lashes can be truly transformative — boosting your selfconfidence and helping you feel more beautiful and attractive every single day.
The first step is a thorough cleansing of the eye area and natural lashes. This ensures the surface is clean and free of any impurities, allowing for a safe and long-lasting application.
A paper under-eye pad is carefully placed beneath the natural lashes. This acts as a base for the application, keeping the natural lashes separated and protected throughout the process.
Finally, the lash specialist applies the extensions one by one, carefully bonding each fibre to the root of a single natural lash. This meticulous technique ensures the extensions are perfectly aligned and look completely natural.
The Classic technique — also known as 1:1 — is the most traditional style. It adds a natural enhancement to the lashes, subtly increasing length and thickness for a beautiful, sophisticated result. Perfect for those who want defined lashes without looking too dramatic
The Brazilian Volume technique is delicate and natural-looking. Lashes appear fuller and more voluminous while maintaining a light, airy feel. A great option for those who want an impactful look that still feels effortless and natural.
The English Volume technique creates an intense, dramatic effect — with very dense, voluminous lashes. This style is perfect for those who want to completely transform their look, adding a striking mega-volume effect
The Fox Eye Volume technique creates a stunning feline look, with very long, dramatically curled lashes. Perfect for those who want a bold, cat-eye effect with an even more pronounced false-lash appearance
Extensions that have grown too far from the natural lash root (near the tips and about to shed) are carefully removed using specialist techniques. A gentle remover dissolves the adhesive, allowing the synthetic fibres to be taken off without damaging your natural lashes.
Before applying new extensions, the eye area is thoroughly cleansed to remove any residue. Natural lashes are gently brushed and prepared to receive the new application.
Your lash specialist then reapplies extensions to the maximum number of lashes, bonding them precisely to the root of each natural lash for a perfectly aligned, natural result.
Finally, your specialist makes the finishing touches — checking alignment and the overall appearance to ensure a flawless result that meets your expectations
Maintaining at least 30% of your original extensions is essential to ensure your set retains its volume and shape. Delaying your infill appointment causes this percentage to drop — compromising your look significantly.
The recommended 20-day interval between infill appointments allows your lash specialist to reapply extensions with the same care and precision as the original application — preserving the quality of your look.
Leaving your infill too long can cause extensions to become misaligned, tangled, and untidy. This compromises the entire look you achieved with your initial application and may require a full new set rather than an infill.
To be eligible for an infill appointment, clients must still have at least 30% of extensions remaining from their last appointment. This allows your specialist to infill the remaining 70%, maintaining the volume and look you love.
The 20-day limit between appointments is the maximum timeframe within which your specialist can reapply extensions with the same care and precision as the first time. After 3 weeks, extensions grow significantly away from the lash root — meaning most need to be removed and reapplied from scratch. Respecting the recommended schedule is essential to maintain your look
Booking your infill appointment in advance is essential to secure your preferred time slot and ensure the durability and quality of your look. Maintaining the 20-day schedule (results may vary depending on the individual’s lash cycle and aftercare) ensures at least 30% of your extensions are preserved and your specialist has adequate time to deliver the best result.
Every person’s natural lashes go through a constant cycle of growth, shedding, and renewal. It is completely normal for all lashes to be replaced over a period of 4 to 10 weeks.
Losing 1 to 5 lashes per day is completely normal. Occasionally, faster lash loss (known as madarosis) can be a symptom of an underlying health issue and should be checked by a doctor.
Pool water containing chlorine, and salty ocean water, both degrade the special lash adhesive — causing extensions to shed more quickly.
Sweating can negatively affect the durability of eyelash extensions, causing them to loosen faster. Avoid intense physical activity and maintain a proper aftercare routine after your appointment
One of the most significant factors contributing to early lash loss is sleeping face-down, as lashes rub against the pillow and the adhesive bond weakens.
After eyelash extension application, eyes may appear slightly red for a few hours — this is completely normal in more sensitive clients and is part of the process. The final result will beautifully enhance your eyes.
Timing is everything when it comes to eyelash extensions. Arriving just 10 minutes late can make a significant difference to your final result — every 7 to 10 seconds, a new lash is applied. Those few minutes of delay can leave your extensions looking less full and less voluminous than you deserve. Please always arrive on time so your specialist can give you their full attention and achieve the best possible volume for you.
Please do not wear mascara before your extension or infill appointment — residue left on the lashes compromises the adhesive bond of the new extensions. If you are currently wearing extensions, please book an Eyelash Removal appointment before your new application to ensure adequate application time. Arriving with mascara residue reduces the time available for your new set and will compromise the final result.
We recommend that clients do not wear contact lenses during the eyelash extension procedure to avoid irritation and discomfort. The chemical composition of the lash adhesive, in proximity to contact lenses, can cause severe irritation in more sensitive clients — and in extreme cases, temporary vision issues.
We do not perform infill appointments on eyelash extensions applied by other professionals or salons, for two main reasons:
1. The wide variety of lash brands on the market means different curl and thickness specifications — mixing products compromises the aesthetic result.
2. After an infill, some natural lash shedding is expected in the following days — clients sometimes attribute this to the new application when it is simply the natural lash cycle.
If you currently have extensions — whether from another salon or from KR Beauty Brazil — and have not kept up with infill appointments, it is essential to book an Eyelash Removal appointment before a new set is applied. This allows the area to be fully cleansed and properly prepared, removing all old adhesive and grown-out extensions for a high-quality new application.
Please book the ‘Eyelash Removal’ option in the system if you need your old extensions removed before your new set.
As explained above, respecting the 20-day infill schedule is essential for maintaining the quality of your eyelash extensions. Appointments booked outside the 20-day window will be automatically cancelled. Clients who arrive on time but with less than 30% of extensions remaining will have two options:
1. Pay the difference and book a full new set (subject to specialist availability).
2. Choose another service of equal or lesser duration (price differences are non-refundable; additional charges apply for higher-priced services).
Especially waterproof formulas, as they can damage and loosen extensions.
Do not wet your extensions for the first 24 hours after application
Avoid exercise and any activity that causes sweating for the first 24 hours.
Oil-based skincare and makeup products near the eyes can compromise the adhesive bond.
Do not use makeup remover wipes or solutions directly on or around the extensions.
Do not rub your lashes with your fingers and avoid sleeping face-down.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, hormonal changes can increase skin sensitivity and the risk of adverse reactions. As a precaution, we recommend avoiding any cosmetic procedure involving chemical products during this period, including eyelash extensions.
Clients undergoing chemotherapy or taking Roaccutane typically have more sensitive and fragile skin, increasing the risk of irritation and allergic reactions. The lash adhesive and protective eye pads used during the procedure may cause discomfort or be unsuitable in these cases.
Clients with a history of allergies or sensitive skin should take extra care before booking an eyelash extension appointment. Some materials used — particularly the lash adhesive or protective tape — may trigger unwanted reactions. Please inform your specialist of any known allergies to adhesives or tape before your appointment to avoid irritation during and after the procedure.
