Say goodbye to unwanted tattoos and permanent makeup with our advanced laser tattoo removal technology in Sydney. At KR Beauty Brazil, we offer a safe and effective solution to remove old tattoos and micropigmentation — giving your skin a brand new beginning.
The Nd Yag Q Switched laser is applied to the tattoo area, emitting intense pulses of light.
The laser light is absorbed by the tattoo pigments, fragmenting them into smaller particles.
The body recognises the pigment fragments as foreign bodies and begins the elimination process.
Over the following weeks, the lymphatic system removes the fragments, progressively lightening the tattoo.
Ideal for dark pigments such as black, dark blue, and green. Penetrates deeper into the skin, making it highly effective for older and deeper tattoos.
Effective for red, orange, and yellow pigments. Works on more superficial skin layers — perfect for permanent makeup removal and more recent tattoos.
The Q Switched laser minimises the risk of damage to surrounding tissues by targeting specifically the tattoo pigments. This results in a safer treatment with a lower risk of scarring. Please note: in clients with very fair skin or with certain vitamin deficiencies (low immunity), minor pinpoint bleeding may occasionally occur during the depigmentation process.
Laser application and observation of the initial skin reaction.
Repeated treatments to continue the lightening process.
Review of results and any necessary touch-ups.
Older tattoos can be more challenging to remove, as the ink used in the past was less sophisticated and penetrated more deeply into the skin.
Dark colours such as black and dark blue are easier to remove. Lighter colours such as yellow, light green, and white may be more challenging and require more sessions.
Areas with better blood circulation, such as the torso and arms, tend to respond better to treatment than extremities such as hands and feet.
Lighter skin types generally respond better to treatment, while darker skin tones may require additional care to avoid pigmentation changes.
As we age, our metabolism naturally slows down, which results in a slower elimination of the fragmented pigments during the removal process. This is an important factor to consider when planning your treatment.
The tattoo area is carefully cleansed and disinfected to prevent infection.
A topical anaesthetic with 4% lidocaine is applied to reduce discomfort during the procedure.
The Nd Yag Q Switched laser is adjusted according to the pigment type and the client’s skin characteristics.
The laser is applied in pulses over the tattoo area, fragmenting the pigments.
After treatment, the area is cooled and a specialised post-laser cream is applied to support healing.
Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated area for at least 30 days. Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen daily — even on cloudy days. Sun exposure can cause pigmentation changes and slow down the healing process.
Keep the treated area well moisturised using creams recommended by your practitioner. This supports healing and reduces the risk of scabbing or dryness.
Refrain from intense exercise, saunas, and swimming pools for at least one week after treatment to avoid irritation and the risk of infection.
Do not scrub or scratch the treated area. Take lukewarm (not hot) showers and pat the area dry gently — never rub.
The laser removal process works with your body’s own lymphatic system to eliminate the fragmented pigments. Drinking generous amounts of water daily helps accelerate this natural detoxification process — supporting faster, more visible results.
